Your mission & challenges: 

At the humanoid robot department, we are looking for multiple excellent humanoid robot developers to join our team. ​
Your tasks will span a wide variety of topics connected to the need for developing 4NE-1, ranging from PCB design for power and motor electronics and sensor design. This includes:

  • Develop and design electronic circuits and hardware components for various applications, with a focus on power and motor electronics, sensor design, and battery management​
  • Create schematics and layouts​
  • Conduct simulations and tests to ensure hardware functionality and reliability​
  • Select and evaluate electronic components and parts​
  • Collaborate with software and system engineers to integrate hardware into overall systems​
  • Develop prototypes and support the manufacturing process up to mass production​
  • Analyze and resolve hardware issues and perform troubleshooting​
  • Document development steps and create technical documentation

 

What we can look forward to: 

  • Bachelor, master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field in combination with several years of experience in hardware design and electronic circuit development, especially in power and motor electronics, sensor design, and battery management​
  • Experience with simulation tools and testing procedures for validating electronic circuits​
  • Knowledge of selecting and evaluating electronic components and parts​
  • Proficiency in using Altium Designer software for schematic and PCB layout design ​
  • Knowledge of the following topics would be an advantage: ​
    • Integration of various Sensor ICs​
    • Battery power management software​
    • Motor control (Field oriented control) firmware​
    • MPLab X IDE or STM32Cube Ide
