Expert in Radar Signal Processing (Human)
Your mission & challenges:
In our team, you will take on a key role as an Expert in Radar Signal Processing (Human) to further develop our innovative radar systems. Your main tasks include:

Designing, implementing, and optimizing algorithms for signal processing and pattern recognition for mm-radar applications to enhance radar signal processing

Formulating and applying algorithms for sensor data fusion from various sources to improve the accuracy and reliability of radar systems

Defining the development direction and priorities for algorithm creation in collaboration with other departments

Processing and analyzing radar data to enhance system performance and accuracy
-
Constructing and utilizing simulation models to predict and optimize radar performance
-
Developing software prototypes and performing tests to validate the algorithms

Collaborating closely with hardware and software developers to integrate the algorithms into the overall systems

Compiling technical documentation, algorithm descriptions, and test reports
What we can look forward to:

Several years of professional experience in formulating and implementing algorithms for signal processing and sensor data fusion, preferably in the field of mm-radar (millimeter-wave radar)

In-depth knowledge of digital signal processing, sensor data fusion, pattern recognition, and machine learning, and experience with common development and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, C/C++)

Strong mathematical skills and solid knowledge in statistics, Fourier transforms, and linear systems

Excellent analytical and problem-solving thinking

Very good communication skills and the ability to clearly present complex technical issues

Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

Experience in functional safety (ISO 26262 or similar standards)

We would also appreciate the ability to lead a team, coordinate projects, and make strategic decisions, but it is not a must
