Your mission & challenges:
At the humanoid robot department, we are looking for multiple excellent humanoid robot developers to join our team. Your tasks will span a wide variety of topics connected to the need for developing 4NE-1, ranging from gearbox and motor design to structure parts and the outer shell of the robot. This includes:
- Design of new powerful and lightweight robotic actuators and structural parts
- Finding innovative materials for robotics
- Design of both the outer shell and appearance of 4NE-1
- Finding new joint mechanisms
- Technical drawings of parts
What we can look forward to:
- Bachelor, Master's, or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software (ideally Creo)
- Experience in manufacturing of parts, including party made of aluminum and plastics
- Excellent and clear communication with suppliers, including bill of material and technical drawings
- Experience in the (industrial) design of
- complex machines
- electrical motors and gearboxes
