Your mission & challenges 

  • Analysis, design, and optimization of business processes in the standard areas of Business Central
  • Translation of business requirements into clear, actionable concepts
  • Creation of process documentation, user stories, and specifications for the BC development team
  • Technical configuration within Business Central (e.g., workflows, role concepts) in coordination with the ERP team
  • Supporting ERP rollouts at national and international locations.
  • Taking over support monitoring, prioritization, and analysis in close cooperation with the ERP team, key users, and external partners
  • Monitoring interfaces (e.g., EDI, scanners, CAD) and escalating issues in case of malfunctions
  • Acting as a contact person for key users and departments for all BC-related topics.
  • Support with data migrations, master data quality, and integration issues
  • Training of users and development of best practices, process standards, and documentation

What we can look forward to 

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) – ideally in multiple modules
  • Good understanding of end-to-end business processes in an industrial environment (e.g., order processing, production, warehouse logistics)
  • Experience in ERP projects, rollouts, or migration projects
  • Strong analytical skills and enjoyment of structured process work
  • Advantageous: experience with interfaces (API, EDI), Microsoft Power Platform, or BC add-ons
  • Very good communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
