Your mission & challenges 

 

In this role, you will take on a key position in managing and further developing our locations in Germany. You will be the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the smooth operation of all facilities and services. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Planning, coordinating, and monitoring technical systems (e.g., telecommunications, heating, electricity) as well as renovation and maintenance work in our properties.
  • Managing and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in collaboration with the Health & Safety team.
    Inspecting building structures, carrying out repair and renovation measures, and monitoring utility consumption to optimize costs.
  • Leading and further developing building spaces, including office, laboratory, and cleanroom areas, to create a productive, innovative, and collaborative work environment.
  • Handling and negotiating insurance, lease agreements, and service contracts.
  • Leading and developing a small team while managing external service providers and suppliers.
  • Planning and implementing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and performance analyses.
  • Developing and managing site roadmaps for future requirements in building use, space management, and real estate strategy.
  • Supporting business continuity by developing emergency plans and procedures.

What we can look forward to 

  • Proven professional experience in building management, facility management, or a comparable position, ideally in an industrial or production environment.
  • Experience in project management, particularly in large construction or site development projects.
  • Solid knowledge in real estate management, contract management, and technical and engineering best practices.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to operate at various hierarchical levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience working with international teams.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
