Your mission & challenges 

Together, we are taking the step into a new era of cognitive robots:

  • You support the machine learning team by developing and implementing novel computer vision and perception components and test them for industrial robots

  • You focus on real-time sensor fusion, camera calibration and 3D reconstruction

  • You help enhancing the performance of our current vision system

  • Take responsibility and support the AI team by executing small development projects and take responsibility for integral components of a newly developed robotic system

  • You work with an interdisciplinary team of experts and get deep insight into all major software interfaces related to the computer vision system

  • You’ll gather knowledge about all related engineering disciplines like electronics, sensors and controllers

  • You help your colleagues to overcome challenges, remove obstacles and provide an inspiring working environment supporting creativity and openness

What we can look forward to 

You are a technology enthusiast who wants to change the world for the better. You are passionate about your work, driven by a problem-solving mentality and have the following skills:

  • Bachelor / Master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience with 3D data processing, computer vision and machine learning
  • Advanced knowledge of C++, Python and ROS
  • Good Knowledge of OpenCV and Point Cloud Library (PCL)
  • Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning and knowledge of Caffe, Pytorch and TensorFlow would be a plus
  • Experience in design, implementation and evaluation of algorithms based on a description
  • High level of creativity and desire to implement your ideas
  • You have a perfect command of the English language and, best of all, speak German well
