Your mission & challenges
As an ESD Specialist, you are responsible for protecting our products and processes from electrostatic discharge across the entire company. You continuously develop our ESD protection concept and ensure that all measures are implemented in compliance with standards, sustainably, and in a practical manner. In this role, you act as the central point of contact for all ESD-related topics and work closely with production, logistics, and development teams to establish safe and efficient solutions.
- You build, maintain, and continuously develop the ESD protection program.
- You monitor compliance with ESD requirements according to common standards such as IEC 61340.
- You conduct ESD audits, inspections, and effectiveness checks to ensure that protection measures are properly implemented.
- You define and verify Electrostatic Protected Areas (EPA).
- You select, evaluate, and approve ESD-relevant equipment such as workstations, packaging, clothing, and measurement devices.
- You perform and document ESD measurements, including resistance-to-ground, grounding, and personnel measurements.
- You train and raise awareness among employees regarding ESD protection and best practices.
- You create and maintain ESD guidelines, work instructions, and test plans.
- You support internal and external audits related to ESD compliance.
- You collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and occupational safety teams.
What we can look forward to

You have a technical education or advanced qualification, for example as a technician, master craftsman, or quality specialist.

You have several years of experience in the field of ESD or in quality assurance within an electronics-related environment.

You possess solid knowledge of relevant ESD standards, such as IEC 61340.

You have experience in establishing and monitoring Electrostatic Protected Areas (EPA).

You are confident in using ESD measurement equipment and can reliably perform and evaluate measurements.

You work in a structured and conscientious manner and have the assertiveness required to enforce standards consistently.

You have a strong awareness of quality and product protection requirements.

You have strong communication skills in German and English and enjoy training employees and raising awareness for ESD-related topics.
